The ZONE Shelter is an attractive, durable shelter with a wide range of uses.

ZONE Shelter’s cantilever design is a stylish and practical addition to many public locations. The ZONE Shelter is the only shelter available that is rotationally moulded in DURAPOL^® Material, a specially formulated polymer that offers excellent impact resistance, is self-coloured so will not scratch, chip or corrode, and will never require painting or other surface treatment.

The rotational moulding process allows the ZONE Shelter to utilise design advantages not available to other shelters. A robust double skinned moulding gives the ZONE Shelter exceptional strength and weather resistance – the shelter has been successfully tested to BS 6399-2 standards by a leading independent wind tunnel facility. The back face of the ZONE Shelter has been designed so that the moulding is very difficult to climb, and the integrally moulded pattern makes it almost impossible to slide down.

ZONE Shelter incorporates a male-female interlocking feature, which allows units to be securely sited side by side. The shelters can also be bolted together easily, for even greater security.

In addition to the standard ZONE Shelter, four package options are available for specific applications:

BIKEZONE^™ Cycle Shelter is easily installed to provide a contemporary shelter for bicycles. BIKEZONE Cycle Shelter can be supplied with a choice of cycle parking options: cycle rings, which can shelter up to 5 bicycles; two cycle hoops, which can shelter up to 4 bicycles; two BI-STANDER^™ SH2 Freestanding Cycle Hoops, which can shelter up to 4 bicycles; or two CYCLEMASTER^™ or CYCLEGUARD^™ Bollards, which can shelter up to 4 bicycles. All cycle parking options are also available separately for additional parking where shelter is not required.

SEATZONE^™ Shelter is a stylish way to offer protection from unpredictable weather conditions for public or staff rest areas. Each shelter is large enough to cover any Glasdon seat up to 1790mm in length (please see the Seating section of this website for further information), or a picnic table of up to 1790mm in length and a maximum depth of 1310mm.

YOUTHZONE^™ Shelter can be used to provide a sheltered gathering area for youths. Youth Shelters are an increasingly common solution to the problem of large groups of young people gathered in public areas.

ZONE SMOKERS’ AREA^™ Shelter offers a contemporary designed space for use as a smoking area in workplaces, colleges, universities or other modern public environments.
